COMEDIANS

A routine I did on TV in the UK that had a lot of people butthurt & in denial. Racism comes in many forms. It's being told that an item is very expensive in a store, when you pick it up, it's being told you 'speak well', ( speak well for who/what?) it's being told you're 'different from the other ones', it's being the only one stopped as you enter the first class cabin on the plane and being asked to show your ticket, it's being the only black people being stopped for a random search AT THE DOOR OF THE PLANE after you'd been thru 7000 security checks, it's constantly having your bags searched after you land, it's being followed around jewelry stores, it's being asked how you can afford your house, your car, your trip, it's being told that you can't have a TV show on a network because they already have (insert name of another black comedian who is NOTHING LIKE YOU), it's being told you only got a job because you're a diversity hire, it's being told by a white comedian who just had a shitty gig, that you only did well because there were more black people in the crowd, when you'd done hundreds of shows where you were the only black person in the room & still killed, it's being on a train in 1st class & a bitch doesn't believe you belong there, & couldn't mind her own fuckin business. Just a few more examples of stuff that has happened to me #livingwhileblack I'm sure many of you can relate. Enjoy the jokes 😜 @officialjamelia knows exactly what I'm talkin bout #ginahasspoken #yeahisaidit #andwhat #racism #microaggressions #blacklivesmatter
